Thanks for taking the time to read this first blog post!
We felt it was important to give you all some background of the brand and our journey to get to where we are today.
It hasn't been an easy journey for us to set up Indelity Golf. We have spent several years developing our products and the brand, constantly tweaking the concepts along the way before launching in April 2024.
The idea initially came back in June 2022, when we came together and felt there was a lack of independent golf clothing companies that offers stylish golf clothing that caters for the everyday golfer. You could buy from the big brands, which were mass manufactured and endorsed by the top golfers in the world, but we felt they weren't really focussed on the average golfer. Whether they were plain and dull in their designs or overpriced, we felt there was a lack of stylish designs that were affordable on the market.
At that point I don't think we had any idea where that dream would lead us to.
Throughout the whole process, we have both emphasised the fact that if we do this, it needs to be done right. No shortcuts could be taken. As keen golfers ourselves, we knew the importance of feeling comfortable on the course and looking good whilst playing.
We both come from sales backgrounds in our day to day roles and so we know the importance of meeting the needs of the customers and offering a truly unique service in what we do. What we didn't have masses of experience in, was manufacturing golf clothing.
Initially our first steps were to partner up with some amazing designers who had experience in designing golf clothing. It took a few months to find the right partner, but we found Hook and Eye, who were absolutely amazing in helping us learn the ropes. This enabled us to create the products we love, which are suited to the requirements and wants of yourselves.
Following this, we then had to source a manufacturer which were knowledgable and experienced in working with golf brands in the UK and also Internationally. This is where the relationship began with Hawthorn International. They had worked with several experienced golf brands and they allowed us to bring the designs to life. After several sampling stages, we then got to where we are today with the opening Lune collection.
Throughout the last 2 years we've taken on your feedback via market research and putting out questionnaires, to develop and produce a unique collection of golf clothing which doesn't compromise on quality, whilst still being affordable for the average golfer. This will continue to happen as we grow. We want you to be a part of our journey and have an impact in the clothes you wear on the course. We will ask for constant feedback to address any issues and we will reach out to you all for opinions on future launches.
When it came to the behind the scenes process, there were lots of ideas we had, to really add extra value to the brand. From the feedback we received, sustainability was a big factor a lot of people mentioned, so in response to that, we pledged to plant a tree with every order and use fully recyclable packaging, swing tags and garment bags. Some more feedback we received was the payment options on some websites were very limited, which is why we partnered with Klarna, ApplePay, GooglePay, Paypal and Shop pay. We have also launched an ambassador scheme to reward golfers for their referrals and give them money to use on our page after referring friends. This was a suggestion a few people would like to see as they were very keen to share our story whilst building up credit to receive free golf clothing every year.
That brings us to today and where we are.
We've launched with our opening Lune Collection which is built up of premium quality 1/4 zips, polo's, bucket hats, caps and a microfibre towel to keep those clubs looking fresh. Our colourways are bold and easy to mix and match, with teal trims that complete the look.
We've created all our products to be multi functional, giving you the opportunity to wear the products off the course as well as on it, which was highlighted in the market research we conducted. We have also incorporated lots of features in the designs paying homage to our local area, the North West of England. Our logo itself is a Heron design as these are commonly seen around the rivers where we both live. On the polos and the 1/4 zips we have created bespoke wave designs on both of those to represent the coastal area where we play golf. We've also adopted a teal colourscheme to play on the Blue seas and the green countryside in our beautiful area. Every detail has been thought out and brought to life in this opening Lune Collection.
Whilst the products speak for themselves and will certainly give you the edge on the course, we want Indelity Golf to be a brand which creates a community of likeminded golfers, where we can all share our stories of a round. Good or bad.
Our mission is to ensure you look and feel your best, whilst growing the sport and inspiring the next generation of golfers.
Thanks,
Indelity Golf
